How do I find info about getting a GED in Florida? Does it cost money? Is it just a test, or are there classes to take? If it is just a test, how does one study for the test? I've already looked at info from my county, but it's very vague. Any info you can give would be greatly appreciated!

It's a test. No classes are required, but you might want to take some. The classes are offered by most community colleges, county departments of education and do not cost. The test itself has a fee.

Go on-line for more information about the test itself: http://www.acenet.edu/AM/Template.cfm?Section=TestTakersInfo&Template=/CM/HTMLDisplay.cfm&ContentID=5333

After examining several questions, if you are comfortable take the test. If not, take some classes. You can take the tests online, but they are generally more expensive.
