IS highschool hard? and do you get a lot of hw?

Im going into freshman yr, and i want to know if its going to be hard and if theres gonna be alot of hw? i play sports and like to hang with friends, so i want to know if hw is gonna get in the way of that. for those of u that have been to hs, how much hw did/do u get every night? o, and i have 1 study hall, everything else is taken

Depends on your teacher and how they teach i had teachers for math that gave out buttloads of HW but my senior math class my teacher didn't give out NO homework what so ever. And study hall is perfect for doing HW it depends on what time of day you have it. i had it first thing in the morning and i never did homework at home b/c i did it in study hall. But my answer is NO hw won't get in the way especially if you have study hall. i had lots of HW my freshman year about 4 subjects a night id finish in 30 minutes at the most. Then i would hang out with my friends. i never did outside school sports i might play college basketball though. But you shouldn't worry Trust Me!

I'm going to be a Junior next year, and I have to tell you that it depends on your school. I've been to 2 different schools so far and one was hard the other was easy. The first was a magnet school and it was REALLY hard. I literally had a project for 3 of my classes each week! I had homework everyday, and the homework was like 2 chapters (that's like 120 pages) of notes and tons of worksheets and vocab and studying to do for a test because I had two tests a week. The school I go to now doesn't give 1/5 of the work the last school did. It's not competitive though. But really it depends on your school. But that should really be the last thing you think about.

I recently graduated highschool but starting off I had aloof of hw and didn't have time for much stuff till about 11th grade then didn't have as much and senior year I had maybe a few subjects worth of hw a week or less

HMMM...It is not that hard but Highschool does take more time than middle school, you will have less free time, but of course you can get to hang with friends, play sports etc. The best way to survive homework is to make a schedule that's it, we all have 24 hours a day!....I used to play games like hell in middle school but i sacrificed it when i went to high school, sacrifice something that is useless and consumes your time unreasonably....

college is a superb purchase diffrent then extreme college. In college your going to could take responsibilies on your very own study and your going to be doing plenty AND numerous analyzing quite in the experience that your going to take social technology courses. as quickly as you get to college, your going to be giggling at how simple extreme college is in comparison to it. The prof in many universities supply you a sheet that has all the assignments your going to be doing in the 12 months and he/she will have the ability to not be reminding you approximately them. some courses in basic terms evaluate you on 3 assessments and thats it, in case you fail them you fail the direction. They quite often do lecture and powerpoint presentation kind issues in college. in case you do not do properly in college, you will grow to be a christmas graduate and the marks on your transcript will survive constantly, so there is not any hiding from the marks once you prepare for a job.
