i have opted for ajp(advanced java programming)as my elective instead of data mining.but i dont know even basic of java.i m learnin just whatever s taught in my college.is it necessary for me to join niit to learn java.or can i learn it by myself.if so how,,,,? i mean how to study by myself.....?

You can learn it by your self...

refer programming in java by E.Balaguruswami....

its a very good book...

each and every thing is explained nicely with example....

and write more program and compile on u r pc...

you will get better idea...

java is good option..

If ur basic of programming , logic and OOP'S concept r clear then u can easily learn java by ur self. Other wise u go 4 any institute.



You should :-

1. refer book Complete Reference for Java

2. Write more n more Java prog and run on PC
