major problem plzz help me out..i'm a student of class 11th poor in studies..suggest me wid some career option?

i aimed fr mechanical engineering from childhood but nw i am quite sure i'll nt be able to crack it...my family also wanted me to do engineering so now i am absolutely blank regarding my career...plzz suggest me wid a career which requires less studies and at the same time compatible wid engineering in terms of money and image....

Many times high school students find making a decision about their career goals very confusing. This is normal. What is unusual is for a student to know exactly what he or she will do for the rest of their lives at that age.



You say you are a poor student, (poor in studies?), well, the get going now in your senior year! Lots of studying, getting tutors, no fooling around could bring up you grades significantly.



Also, you can take time off after graduation. Get a job as a general llaborer Doing something like that can mature you so that you will eventually be able to focus on what it is you really want to do.



You could go to a technical school also. Their programs are usually 2 years long.

If you are not good in maths and science subject, then please don't follow engineering, as it is really tough.



however, don't worry, the world is full of successful people from different streams of study, and not only engineering, so talk to your parents and choose something that you are comfortable with



if you have interest and skill to follow something you like, with necessary skills, you will put more efforts, that will result in dedication and finally success.....if you choose otherwise, then there is a possibility that you might struggle in grades, finally affecting your career for the whole life.

ARTS - B.A. - literature, history, legal (law) etc., - you need to be good in languages, comfortable with remember dates etc., as history and legal stuff has many dates and Acts etc., to remember.



COMMERCE - B.Com - accounting - you need to be good in simple calculations - (Maths is optional, but opting for Maths will make you eligible for higher studies like - CA, ICWA etc.,) - Options without maths are CS and MBA.



BBA - is about management, generally followed by MBA - maths is not important.



SCIENCE - is about applied and pure science (applied = engineering, pure = theoretical). While you need to be good in science and maths for pure science (B.Sc), you need to be really excellent in them for engineering (B.E. / B.Tech)

COMPUTERS (IT) - is about computer software application, all about making software programs - after 12th you can pursue BCA or B.Sc in computer science.

If you have some creative talent like drawing, writing etc., after 12th (any stream) you can do Mass Media & Communication - you can choose either Journalism or Advertisement / TV&Media / PR / Event management etc.,



OR, if you like computers, and are good in drawing, you can do B.Sc in Animation after 12th (any stream)....its has great scope, as most of the big animation industries of the world are getting job done from us.



there are other options like fashion designing etc.,



So, choose as per your interest and the ones that suits your skills and talent, and you will always be successful.
