I applied for the commerce program at University of Mississauga by mistake, and got accepted. I want to be in the Rotman Commerce program instead, but the problem is, it's on the St. George campus. Is there any way I can switch programs before the start of my program?

Hi. I'm going into 3rd in Rotman, that means I am in a position to somehow answer your question. If you did not apply at first, before the dateline then it is almost unfortunate now. You can still apply to Rotman after your first year in UTM, but you will need to compete with other good students (read geniuses;) . Every year a few vacancies in 2nd year are offered to transfer students but the number of applicants is always overwhelming. So...only the strong survives! Remember, everyone had 95% like you! http://www.rotmancommerce.utoronto.ca/admissions/required/second.htm On average those with 3.75(A-) take the spots. Bet you will get that? At the moment, you can't imagine how hard that is but you will get the idea after your first test in UTM, around October. If I were you, I would appreciate my UTM offer and stay there because, it takes more than just studying to be happy in Rotman (read: survive; get good grades). Congrats, and welcome to UofT(orture)!

President Barack Obama, speaking at a rally in Philadelphia, said "the American people deserve to know who is trying to sway their elections" and raised the possibility that foreigners could be funding his opponents. "You don't know," Obama said at the rally for Senate candidate Joe Sestak and other Democrats. "It could be the oil industry. It could even be foreign-owned corporations. You don't know because they don't have to disclose." No 'blatant lies' here. He's right, all the Chamber has to do is open their books and show where their donations are coming from, but they won't. The US Chamber of Commerce has openly stated they are going to spend $75 million dollars on Republican only campaigns across the country. If there is even a chance that most of that money is coming from foreign multi-national corporations then it should indeed be disclosed.
