I'm interested in majoring in accounting but I'm kinda scared, i have 3 reasons
1) My math isn't that strong. My high school math grades were D.C.F.C.B
2) I have a problem in my speech, I stutter a lot but not all the time, sometimes i can't say anything and sometimes i talk normally fine _-. I'm kinda scared of that, specially talking to people.
3) I'm shy and I'm scared that i won't get a job, after graduation.

I'm an accountant. You only need math up to about 9th grade to be an accountant. You don't need the formulas, but you need the math logic which goes along with 9th grade math.

Staff accountants are solitary workers. The only people who need to speak well are the top people in CPA firms who solicit business from clients. If you are a corporate accountant rather than working in a CPA firm, then your ability to speak is irrelevant.

Most accountants are shy. If they were outgoing, they would go into sales and marketing rather than accounting.

Talk to an accountant and some volunteer work and find out if that is something you would enjoy doing. It would be sad to spend the time and money to major in something that you couldn't get a job at. The Stuttering Foundation stutteringhelp.org has great information with free books and online videos that can help youwith your stuttering. They have referrals to specialists or you can work through their self therapy book.

With those kinds of grades in high school math I'd worry more about getting accepted into college before I would becoming a licensed professional.
