Many word processors have the ability to use shortcuts to spell out complete words. You can try to enter a single space and have it change it to double space if it will accept space as a character.

A better way would be to leave it alone and when you are finished with the document do a "change all" from dot space to dot space space, question space to question space space, etc.

Do you mean that you want to double space when you press enter? So that each line of text has a space underneath it? If so, and you are using Microsoft Works, do this:

1. Click on FORMAT

2.Then click on Paragraph

3.Go to Spacing

4.Go to Line Spacing and click on Double and hit ok

That should be it.

Yes. In your Word document, or word processor, go to Format on the toolbar. Then, click on Paragraph. About half way down and sightly to the right is a box listing, "Spacing". Click on the drop arrow and select "double". Then, click OK.

You can do this through the word processing program you are using, in word you go to edit then paragraph, the sub menu will pop up and you can choose the kind of spacing you need.

I believe there is a way but why? I know that when you write sentences, following a period you would insert two spaces denoting a new sentece. But what about in between each word? Would you want two spaces in between each word?
