I always been told that I can do whatever I want to in life. Though, now I actually belive it and have my goals ready for the next 5 years. Starting my education in 2 weeks and I'm very motivated.

However I feel my brain is a bit dull after having a year off from school. Do you think it's possible to not be 'smart' enough for certain jobs. That having a good or bad brain is just how you were born?

I'm not a very intellectual person. I know for my next education they are going to do speed-math tests and logical tests on my and I'm afraid of failing these. Do you think it's possible to train your brain to become better? Any tips?

There's no 'c' in 'exist'.

There is a lot to be said for hard work, dedication, attitude, etc. - but in some cases you either have natural ability/aptitude or you do not.

Reading is probably one of the most important things you can do - because if you can read well (and comprehend what you are reading) then you can usually figure out just about anything else.

Sometimes a persons circumstances, environment, etc. can affect how much they will excel - and you don't always get to decide where you start from, or what resources are available to you.

i think it is possible to train your brain to a certain extent. but i also think a large portion of intelligence comes from your parents and how you were raised. what you learn in the first 10 years of life is crucial, and it lays a foundation for how smart you are. if people dont have a good foundation, they might not learn as well as others, see? but with proper motivation and patience i think anytihng is possible. dont give up

Dumb can really exist. Look at George Bush.

Best thing to do to keep your mind sharp is to read books, even if it is Harry Potter or 50 shades of Grey you will be smarter, have a larger vocabulary and better spelling. Not to mention faster thought processes and more imagination.

No.

Just laziness and ignorance.
